I saw on the news this morning that a puppy ate a leather dog collar whole. The collar even had spikes in it. The cost of the surgery is $1200, which the family does not have.
Would you donate to the cause?
Now, would it make a difference if it was a Hispanic family with 3 kids and 2 dogs – both pit bulls?
That’s what credit cards are for.
I’ve used my credit card to pay for the following major surgeries:
$3000 tooth extraction for cat
2- $1000 tooth extraction for cats
$5000 emergency blood transfusion for dog
countless teeth cleaning, emergency room visits, checkups, etc.
I work a low paying warehouse job and no one is going to donate to me the next time one of my animals is sick. This family is lucky they got on the news somehow.
